About Consent Labs (TFN Alumni, 2024)

Consent Labs is a national youth-led not-for-profit organisation that empowers young people and their supporting communities to actively change the culture around sexual violence through comprehensive consent and respectful relationship education programs.

With the funds raised at the Thriving Young People event in 2024, Consent Labs have used this funding to deliver 6 consent and respectful relationships workshops to schools in regional and rural NSW. These workshops have supported 215 young people.

A teacher at one of the rural schools shared, “We were incredibly lucky to be able to engage with Consent Labs. As a small, rural school, getting external providers can be really difficult, but having specialist programs and talented presenters is so powerful! Without the funding this wouldn’t have been possible.”
