One Ball is a community football organisation supporting young people aged 5–17 across Victoria through weekly football sessions, school programs, character-strength workshops, mentoring and positive-affirmation resources. Its approach centres inclusion, mental wellbeing and positive youth development, helping young people stay active, connected and engaged in school and community.
Through partnerships with schools, councils, universities and local clubs, One Ball creates safe, positive environments where children from diverse backgrounds feel seen, supported and valued.
What they’re pitching for…
One Ball is seeking support to expand access for new children to participate in its full year program, removing financial barriers that prevent families from enrolling.
The funding will cover participation in weekly football sessions focused on inclusion, fitness and skill-building, alongside uniforms and a character-strength workshop designed to build confidence, resilience and a positive mindset. This expansion will be delivered across Cranbourne, Port Melbourne and Maribyrnong, strengthening connection, school engagement and wellbeing for young people who can be at higher risk of isolation and disengagement.
