Nationwide

Dedicated to caring for young Australians on the frontlines of climate action, ECOMIND equips youth aged 16 to 35 with vital mental health first aid and community support.

ECOMIND is Australia’s leading youth climate mental health charity, dedicated to supporting young Australians aged 16 to 35 navigating climate distress and activist burnout. Through three core pillars (Care, Connect, and Create), the organisation delivers Australia’s first youth-co-designed climate mental health first aid training, facilitates supportive community care networks, and drives systemic policy advocacy. By building emotional resilience and agency, ECOMIND enables young changemakers to move from overwhelm to sustainable action, strengthening community wellbeing and environmental impact.

What they’re pitching for:

ECOMIND is seeking support to scale its climate mental health first aid programme from a directly delivered model into an accessible, licensable framework for partner organisations. To meet surging demand ahead of the upcoming global climate summit (COP31), the project will fund a one-day intensive workshop for youth leaders, alongside a central online hub with all the necessary training resources. This will empower partner groups to run sessions independently within their own networks, expanding vital mental health support for young people while building a self-sustaining model for lasting impact.
