Nat Heath

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Nat Heath is a Noongar and Martujarra man, a 2025 NAIDOC Sportsperson Award finalist, and the founder and CEO of TRIMOB. Having overcome Guillain-Barré Syndrome to complete eight IRONMAN events, including the World Championships twice, he established TRIMOB in 2020 to address the underrepresentation of First Nations people in endurance sports. Through his leadership, he champions strengths-based, culturally rooted approaches that empower Indigenous Australians to embrace physical health, movement, and community pride.

Nationwide

Fosters health, community pride, and leadership across Australia by creating Aboriginal-led participation pathways in endurance sports.

TRIMOB Australia is a First Nations-founded and 100% Indigenous-led non-profit charity that empowers community members to improve their physical health and wellbeing through swimming, cycling, and running. Grounded in Aboriginal ways of being and doing, TRIMOB delivers community-driven initiatives including local run clubs, marathon pathways, and youth triathlons. By replacing deficit-based narratives with cultural celebration and peer support, the organisation breaks down participation barriers and builds sustainable leadership across regional and urban communities.

What they are pitching for…

This project funds the expanded delivery of Move the Mob community run clubs across ten regional and urban locations, providing local coaching, equipment, and structured support that feeds directly into the Mob the Marathon pathway. The funding also supports initial feasibility research, community consultation, and partnership scoping to launch Australia’s first major First Nations-owned and led running event. By training local Indigenous coaches and removing financial and social barriers to sport, this initiative strengthens physical health and embeds sustainable community leadership on Country.
