In three different towns, Sydney, Geelong and Brisbane, Compass host Kumi Taguchi goes behind the scenes with The Funding Network as each nonprofit presenter is coached to craft and hone their pitch in preparation for the “philanthropic shark tank” live crowdfunding event. The stakes are high as three charities face a room full of potential donors.
Generosity was there at the Sydney event that raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for three deserving (and stunned) women who are making a difference in lives of refugees, the homeless and victims of domestic abuse.
